History
The Citroën Twelve and Fifteen were models of the Citroën Traction Avant, a front-wheel drive car that was produced from 1934 to 1955. The Traction Avant was designed by André Lefèbvre and Flaminio Bertoni.
Production
The Twelve was produced as a saloon, roadster, and fixed head coupe
The Fifteen was introduced in 1935 as a saloon with five seats and a family model with seven seats
The Popular Twelve and Fifteen were introduced in 1938
The Light Fifteen was built from 1946–1947
The Big Fifteen returned in 1952

Right-hand drive cars were built at Slough Trading Estate, England.[14] The Slough version of the 11L was called the Light Fifteen and the long wheelbase 11 was called the Big Fifteen. This confusing terminology referred to the British fiscal tax rating of the time, which was higher than the French, so the 11CV engine was 15HP in England. Models assembled in Slough had to consist of 51 per cent UK parts to make them exempt from the import taxes imposed by the UK government to protect British vehicle manufacturers from foreign competition.
