SU-85 AND SU-100 On the Battlefield vol 9
The SU-85 and SU-100 provided a highly effective anti-armour capability to the RKKA and its allies in the latter years of the Great Patriotic War and in the immediate post-war period. Both vehicles were quite capable of engaging and defeating the most commonly encountered Pz.Kpfw.IV,Panther and Tiger 1 at normal combat ranges, though neither vehicle could defeat the frontal armour of the Tiger ii or Jagdtiger.
